From a study in Kukës, to a shop for the world
After studying Kukës's craft traditions, SHKIZH found that over 1,400 women had lost the loom-weaving profession that once sustained their families. From that came Artizanal, aka ArtZan — the social enterprise that puts the craft back in women's hands, and carries it into homes worldwide.
Our online shop ships across Albania, most of Europe, the US and beyond — and every cent of profit returns to the community of Kukës weavers.
